After 33 years of volunteer work as a city councilor and 18 years leader of the CDU Rotenburg I I actually no longer involved in politics. As citizens Rotenburger I feel because of the large protests called to voice my opinion on the subject of temporary bridge.
- Mayor Fehr and his SPD Wittich want to build with all the power not only in a temporary bridge across the Fulda, but a new bridge
- With a lot of money the country Hesse flood relief measures undertaken that have led to the lowering of Fulda by 70 cm at high tide. The entire field of Fuldaaue between the "old Fulda Bridge and Wittich Port Square was just before Braach dredged and rehabilitated.
As a replacement for the old Wittich has created the Rotenburger sports club a new training pitch with floodlights. The site was funded by the city.
- The Wittichsteg was renewed with great effort and considerable expense, to span the renatured Fulda bed.
- The "Münscher-hall" in the Fuldaaue was against the will of the CDU faction in the city council for a lot of money bought by the city in order to use it for the depot of the city.
- are Not to be neglected by the city funded and gravel Areas that are designated as bus parking. Add to that the planting of chestnuts come to the green.
The former environment minister of the Open Women Künast itself has recognized the restoration of Fuldaaue and lowering the water level at high tide by 70 cm as a major achievement.
on the corner of New Town road / street corner in front of the house is No. 1 (House Lemke), the road will be built as temporary.
The land parcel 70 / 2, 70 / 3 and 70 / 6 belong to the city and can be used for that purpose. The old half-timbered house of THW may be demolished to make room.
Then a temporary bridge could be built on the Fulda, to connect to the house to the Bruhns Braach road.
The better way would be a citizens' information with the Office of Highway and transport Eschwege, the Transport Ministry and the citizens have been and not the creation of a fait accompli. The citizen is therefore entitled to protest.
